Special service on Veterans Day

So for veterans day this year at school, but apart of his scout troop, Chan was able to assist a veteran in retiring an old flag. I have never seen this done before, it was pretty cool to see the respect given to the flag for the symbol it represents. I am very thankful to all of our veterans past and present for our freedoms that we take for granted everyday. This flag ceremony made me reflect on all that we have to thank these brave veterans for. We are so blessed and should be proud for this flag that we have. The meaning behind it is so strong! I was very pleased to watch my son take part in this ceremony, it was all I could do to not cry.I am very thankful to my Heavenly Father for having so much faith in me to raise such powerful young men! I will not ever feel worthy of this calling but I am embracing it with all I possess! He is quite the amazing young man and is growing so much! Chanley, you did great!!! Love you!!

Halloween

Mylee ~ Our super scarey pirate...... She didnt know what to think of all these masks ppl wear on halloween. Scared her too much!

Chayden and Charger. Chayden is a ninja....only wearing half of his costume, Charger is Iron Man. Love the CHEESY grins boys!!!
Chayce has wanted this costume for like 3 years, I finally broke down and got it this year....one of the masks Mylee was terrified of!
This is our cute little pirate bunch. It was super fun to coordinate these costumes! I thought they were fun!
Charger in the Halloween parade at school, right in front of Sprockets!!! Gotta have the vampire teeth!! ; )
Chan as a dirtbike racer, but not wanting mom to embarrass him, especially to take his picture!!! lol....

Sprockets One Year Anniversary...

It is that time of year already! We are coming upon our one year anniversary of opening this business. December 3rd will be one year. Sprockets has grown so much. We have accumulated more employees, and inventory as we try our best to best serve this community. We have been thru crazy busy times when we didn't think we would ever go home for the day. All in all it has been a great first year and we hope it will only get greater with each coming year. We appreciate this awesome little town that has stuck by our ideas and helped make some of them become reality. This town is very open to our ideas and we are excited to be apart of the growth. We will possibly be having some unbeatable anniversary sales so watch for them and I will keep you all posted on the deals we do. Thanks for all the support in our success here, and here's to the future success to come!!

Braces!

A New Adventure for my boy! Chayce has been pretty excited for a while about getting braces, and finally......here they are! AND yes, they are HOT PINK! He had that color chose for a while too! He is now dealing with soreness and all the fun stuff that braces bring! I was glad I didnt have to fight him on the issue, but it was funny that he was so excited to get them. They will be on for a while, so Im sure everyone will get to see him with them on. That is the latest update for Chayce, other than he is starting basketball again. I guess it is that time already! WOW this year is going by so fast! I cannot believe it is almost Halloween! SCAREY! lol.....

Wrestling anybody???

So, apparently we don't have enuf to do...let's add something else. LOL. Jeff is going to coach wrestling for the 4th thru 8th grade. WHOA, and he just called to the Elder's Quorum 2nd counselor. He is coaching his last football game today (as we speak) then its on to wrestling and EQ...haha.  I think he is excited to be involved in the community. I am glad he will be coaching our kids aged groups. That will be great! Easier for him to make it to their tournaments!! Hopefully! ; )

And, I guess I will put on here that Chayce is getting braces on monday. He is so excited. I am not sure why a kid would be excited about that but I am glad I am not having to fight him on it! So that will be our next exciting trek!!

I am so behind!

So, I realize its been some time since I have updated. I apologize! Life is crazy! So updates on the kiddos... Chayce~ He is in Middle school this year! I cannot believe how fast they grow! I swear time goes faster when you have kids. He is in tackle football and just loves it! He was taking guitar lessons over the summer and hopes to resume those soon! He is very good at it and loves to play for people, so he will be a great entertainer! He bought a motorcycle this summer and is working very hard to pay it off! He loves to ride it. He does very well at it. He is doing well in middle school. He still has all "A"s!! He is such a smart kid and a great attribute to our family! We love him! Chan~ He is in 4th grade this year and is such a ladies man it worries me! He is doing well in school. He has lots of friends that are "girls" and he carries their books for them and saves seats for them next to him. WOW, cant believe he is starting this crap already!!!!!! GEEZ, Im gonna be in trouble! He loves to ride his dirtbike. He wants to race and is currently working toward all of the race gear that his mother REQUIRES him to have before him to start racing!! We sat down and talked about all of this and what was expected of him in order to race, he agreed to all of my terms and said he doesnt want to get hurt too bad so he is fine with all the gear! He is my worry wart! He is a good kid too, and we love him! Chayden~ Can't believe he is my 2nd grader already! He is growing up so quick! He is doing ok in school and loves to learn new things. He is a GREAT helper around the shop and at home. If it is something he doesnt want to do he will disappear and go take a nap on his bed! Too Funny!! He LOVES to dance! He has some moves that I wonder where in the heck he came up with all of these moves but he does them like he has forever! I am thinking about signing him up for gymnastics. We checked out the facility and he seemed to really dig it. So that may be something he ventures in soon. Chayden is a caring person and is very protective. He defends anyone that is being picked on, even if it means they beat him up for it! (This has happened several times for him defending bullied kids) He is a strong kid mentally! ; ) His physical muscles may be on the small side but he doesnt let that get in his way. LOL We love him, and he definitely adds some spirit to our family! Beans~ He is in Kindergarten, all day to boot! He loves it! He begged for full day even tho I was (and always have been) so against full day!! He won! I go check his sugar throughout the day while the teachers are doing great at trying to pick up on his little regimen. He is learning things quickly and crashes when he gets home from school and can sleep the whole rest of the day if I let him! Playing with his puppy, Charlie, is one thing he likes to do. Also, teaching Mylee new things is always on his agenda! She yells at him alot! He is very mature for only being 5 since July! He likes to ride his bike and scooter. Loves to ride the 4 wheeler, and tries to find any reason he can to ride it! Even if it is pulling it out fron of the shop for display! He is very strongheaded and like things done a certain way (HIS). Tries to negotiate everything! We love him, and are so greatful he is apart of our family! Mylee~ This little spitfire is small, but growing like a weed! She loves to pack Charlie around! She is a little mother hen! Bosses brothers around all the time, and loves to clean! She is very girlie, but loves her time to play in the dirt! She is definitely the ruler of the house and the boys cater to her. I try to limit that as much as I can but you know!! She loves her babies, packs them around and pats their back. It so cute! She loves her sparkly "pretties"! This would be anything from her earrings to her shoes (which she is a HUGE Shoe freak!)I take ALL the credit for that! She definitely takes after her momma!! She also like to talk on the phone, or anything that resembles a phone (that would definitely be her dads trait!) She LOVES to walk. She is fine to go anywhere as long as she can walk around. Unfortunately, I think she's got her mother's RLS!! No fun! Jeff and I are keeping just as busy as ever! We opened an ATV shop called SPROCKETS. We are a full service shop with a retail side for parts and accessories as well. If you have ever owned your own business you know how much time it takes. Jeff spends alot of time here. His average hours in a day run from about 8AM-2AM. I talked him into coaching the freshman football team just for him to have a minute out of the shop. He said he forgot how much he loved football. So that has been a good thing even tho it puts a little strain things. I am running on the ambulance. I became an EMT this year and am loving every moment and the experience it brings to me! This is my "football coaching" or my time off away from the shop. We both enjoy all the craziness in our lives tho somedays we wish it was not as hectic. I would not change a thing. I love my kids and the excitement they bring to my family. I know someday I will miss the hussle and bussle of having to be in 4 different places at the same time and so I am enjoying every second the best I know how to. I know my sweet mom is watching over us from above and is so proud of her grandbabies! She is sorely missed every second of every day!

To sum up our story:

Jeff and I got married on August 14, 1998. We have four beautiful boys and a sweet little girl. We have been married for 13 years. We run a business in Utah called Sprockets. It is a full service ATV shop. It has been Jeff's dream to do since he was a kid (not mine!! ; )) But we keep very busy at it and are glad for the support from the community. This is a great place to live.
