First day back to school 2009-10

All three of my sweet boys before the first day of school Thursday, Aug 13, 2009. Chayce, Chanley, & Chayden
Oh my goodness, I think yesterday they got home from school and it was supposed to be summer break....what happened to it? I can't believe it is gone! But, here we are! So, now Chayce is in 4th grade and Chanley is in 2nd, and Chayden is in kindergarten!!!! I can't believe one of my babys are in school! Pretty soon, I will be finished raising them and wishing the time back! I will admit that I had a good cry while driviing the kids to school this morning though... so overwhelming, thought the pregnancy hormones do not make it easier!!! So here are some pics of the day.
Chayce, excited to wear his school clothes!

Chayden loves to pose for the camera and every pic has to be suave!!
Chanley has to pretend that he is not excited though he was ready for school like 2 hours before it was time to go!!!!
Of course, Charger has to be apart of the crowd too, and is not pleased he will be coming back home with mom after the kids are in school...he wants to go soooo bad!!!I gave Chayden, and the other kids the option for after school if they wanted to ride the bus home or if they wanted me to pick them up. Of course, Chayden wanted to ride the bus, and Chanley did too...but Chayce wanted me to pick him up. So, here is Chaydens first bus ride home!!!!!

Kids in the pool with Coy

Some of our good friends came over and let Coy play with the kids in their pool and slip n slide. Chayce loved to "take care" of Coy when he was here. He is a great babysitter. Coy didn't like the new idea of playing in the water until Chayce took him under his wing and made him comfy in the water! Good times!

Chayce is going into Orchestra

Chayce is really excited to start orchestra this year. He is going to play the violin, and let me tell you that Jeff is envious of him. We picked up his violin yesterday and he has had it out several times trying to play it. He is a cute kid and will be so great at it! I am very proud of him and how ambitious he is. I hope it sticks with him throughout his life. He will be great at hwatever he decides to do.

Prego Pics....

Ok so, Kellee is wanting more pics of the prego belly. So I have 2, one is when I was 22 weeks and one now at just about 32 weeks. Not my fav pics but ya know! I will be glad I have them some day! This is finally, as most of you know, or precious girl that we have been patiently waiting to add to the family! Can't wait to hold her in my arms.
The white shirt is 22 weeks, and the red is 32 weeks. They look close to the same size to me, but who knows... Hope you all enjoy!

Why God made Mothers... Jones style

I got this version of questions of 2nd graders responses of Why God made moms, and I thought it woulld be funny to hear what my kids would say to these questions.... So here ya go!!!

1. Why did God make mother's?

Chanley- To have us and protect us.
Chayce- To teach us.
Chayden- Because so babys won't die. And so babys can come out and so they can have kids if they want kids.

2. How did God make mother's?

Chan- With seeds, blood and bones.
Chayce- The same as other people, but with other things in common.
Chayden- maked the bones then made a person outta bones and glued skin on them and a little bit of water and if we dont drink some more water we will die if we just leave it like that.

3. What ingredients are moms made of?

Chan-Bones, blood.
Chayce- Meat, bones, muscle, and water
Chayden- Moms are made out of bones and blood, and water.

4.Why did God give you your mother and not some other mom?

Chan- He loves us.
Chayce- He thinks she would be perfect to teach us.
Chayden- so other babies can come out their moms and grow and grow into brothers or sister. If they are a girl they are going to grow up into a boy and if they are a girl they grow up into a girl.

5. What kind of a little girl was your mom?

Chan- A Jones
Chayce- spoiled
Chayden- She had to bigger if she was going to be a mom.

6. What did mom need to know about dad before she married him?

Chan- How old he was.
Chayce- If he had a job.
Chayden- They say they are gonna marry a boy and they say I wanna marry him.

7. Why did your mom marry your dad?

Chan- So he could protect us and have the gospel
Chayce- To have a family and the priesthood.
Chayden- because so babies can be born.

8. Who's the boss at your house?

Chan- Mom
Chayce- Dad
Chayden- Moms and Dads

9. Whats the difference between moms and dads?

Chan- Moms have babies and dads dont
Chayce- They have different stuff made on them like boobs.
Chayden- they have rules because so they can tell their kids what to do and what they are gonna do outside, they have to help dad and moms and dads have rules so the kids wont get ran over by a car then they will have to go in heaven and their moms and dads will be sad.

10. What does your mom do on her spare time?

Chan- Homework
Chayce- Homework
Chayden- They have privacy.

11. What would it take to make your mom perfect?

Chan- Be happy
Chayce- Happiness
Chayden- We wouldnt jump all over and play in the stores and scare their moms but its very fun to scare moms.

12. If you could change one thing about your mom what would it be?

Chan- No more spankins.
Chayce- That we don't have to do any chores or homework or anything, she would just tell us to go out and play.
Chayden- Surprised.... surprised is like this..... ' o '

To sum up our story:

Jeff and I got married on August 14, 1998. We have four beautiful boys and a sweet little girl. We have been married for 13 years. We run a business in Utah called Sprockets. It is a full service ATV shop. It has been Jeff's dream to do since he was a kid (not mine!! ; )) But we keep very busy at it and are glad for the support from the community. This is a great place to live.
